It starts from Castell'Arquato, a village overlooking the Arda stream, rich in artistic treasures such as the Collegiata dell'Assunta with Romanesque sculptures and late Gothic frescoes, its square overlooked by the Palazzo del Podestà (seat of the municipal wine shop) and the majestic Visconti fortress.

Continue (with your own means) to the enchanting and tiny Vigoleno, another village where it seems that time has stopped. The castle with the keep and the Romanesque church of San Giorgio rise around the tiny center of the town, surrounded by mighty walls.
