UNUSUAL PARMA

Walking  tour through the less known alleys of the historic center of Parma, accompanied by old stories and curious legends like that of the alleged sculpted lice.
The tour will start with the visit of the Shrine of the Steccata, the beautiful  Greek-cross renaissance church where we will  observe little known details, such as the magnificent funerary monuments of dukes and knights and precious works of art from an area of the Sanctuary generally not accessible to the public: the  chorus.

The tour will continue through the mysterious and ancient medieval alleys  that retain beautiful views and precious terracotta artifacts. An important stop of our walk will be the church of Santa Lucia, the beautiful Baroque building recently restored.
