CHEESE NOTES

A walk through a rural landscape where heritage of humanity pieces of art are born, such as Giuseppe Verdi's plays and Parmigiano-Reggiano.

The harmony of this land was well know by Verdi and you can breathe the very same cultural air in which the master of italian music grew.
Through the route we'll discover the importance of the Master Dairyman, the composer of a play that will make your taste buds dance!
We'll visit an important Parmigiano-Reggiano production plant, meet the Cheese Maker and witness how the forms are made.

The tour ends with a tasting of three different Parmigiano-Reggiano maturations (12, 24, 36 months) for a unique sensory experience.

The tour includes entrance fees.

The entrance to the cheese production plant and the tasting (3 maturations paired with wine or water), along with the entrance to the Birthplace of Giuseppe Verdi require a 15€ fee per person.
